t+t Netcom AG wanted to enrich their own scanning device with a manual operational scanning feature to record information. ADT Germany received the question to implement a scanner in the mobile device. Opticon’s module VLM 4100 had the right features for this solution:

• The customer could immediately benefit from the additional functionality, without any investments
• ADT quickly realized a small sized decoder board for integration in several autoID applications
• Opticon added automation skills to a new product and made again data registration easier
