***** TROUBLESHOOTING *****

- Firmware version IBUV0070 or lower does NOT support updating across different subnets. Place make sure your EBS-4x is on the same subnet as your PC/Laptop

- Make sure UDP ports 67, 68, 69, 1002, 13633 are not blocked by your Fire wall or Switch

- Make sure UDP ports 9767, 9768 are also not blocked by your Fire wall (only when updating across different subnets with firmware IBUV0072 or higher already installed)

- When directly connecting to an EBS-4x (without switch/router). Please make sure your IPv4 settings are set to 169.254.19.61 / 255.255.0.0 and IP (in the application) is set to 169.254.19.64

- Use the EBSFinder tool to verify that your device can be discovered and/or to find its IP-address / serial number

- If the updating tool can't find your EBS-4x or can't connect to it, it will assume it is in bootloader mode and will attempt to recover the firmware (this may take a few minutes to start or you can power cycle the EBS-40 to speed up the process).

- If your EBS-40 is configured on an fixed IP address that can't be accessed at the moment, you can temporarily re-enable DHCP by pressing and holding the button, while powering on the device, until the red LED continuously stays on for more than 2 seconds. Then release the button. (Power cycle the device to disable DHCP again)
